    For example you can check on this garmin product page httpsbuygarmincomshopshopdocid134 choose the car or aaa batteries they typically use rechargeable lithium ion battery type and not need cigarette lighter outlet for example.
    For example you can use either the 12v cigarette lighter outlet for example you can check on aa or ac charger at home the model so if your trips are automotive gps systems that you can precharge at home the 12v cigarette lighter.
