Gps navigation - Finding a better, cheaper GPS 

I recently drove from my home in Phoenix to Minnesota and on to mid-Michigan to visit family. While I left my AAA TripTiks in Michigan, I remembered the Magellan eXplorist XL GPS receiver, so finding my way home was not a problem.

Incompatible systems 
I HAVE, on order, a 2002 Mercedes Benz E240 that was originally meant for the Japanese market. I have been told that the vehicle comes equipped with a built-in telephone system and a navigation system that do not function in Malaysia.
